Personnel: Kinkajou are Polly MacLean (vocals), Andy Chapman (guitars), Al Firrell (bass and cello) and Sharon Forbes (violin).
Location: South London, though all originally from elsewhere.
History: Polly and Andy started the band in early 2001 after meeting at a party. Al joined in the summer of 2002 and Sharon in the summer of 2003.
CV: Many gigs around London since August 2001, including dates at the 12 Bar Club, The Borderline the Troubadour and Blackheath Halls. Festival appearances include the Jersey Music Festival, Lewisham People’s Day and the Crystal Palace Bowl. Radio session for Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6. Starred at the inaugural whitelabel.com night at the Concorde 2 in Brighton in November 2004.
Recordings: Debut 6 track CD “Candlelight & Scars” released Dec 2001 on band’s own Happy Accident label. “Good Brother Bad Brother” from “Candlelight & Scars” appeared on Indiego Sampler Vol 2
